I emailed my Representative (Gwen Moore. (D-WI)) on a CSPIA-related issue, specifically books and libraries (also theoretically endangered by testing requirements), and what I got back was a blithe assurance that "oh this legislation isn't as bad as that, they aren't going to enforce it *that* strictly, and it's needed to protect the children!"
